Professional/Counselor Educator Member
Annual Dues: $65
Eligibility: Any person who holds a graduate degree of at least the master's level in counseling, counselor education, or a related field is eligible to be a professional member. If you are a counselor educator you can choose to be a Counselor Educator member
Student Member
Annual Dues: $37.50
Eligibility: Any student who is enrolled on at least a half-time basis at a college or university in a graduate degree program in the area of counseling or counselor education or a related professional counseling degree program is eligible for student membership in the Missouri Counseling Association with the signature or electronic notification of a graduate faculty member from that program verifying at least halftime graduate student status.
Student members are entitled to vote in MCA elections, have the same obligations, and are entitled to the same privileges as professional members.
First Year Professional
Dues for First year: $37.50
Eligibility: Recent graduates may join the Missouri Counseling Association and its divisions at the same rate as student members for a period of one year following program completion.
A member in good standing shall be entitled to vote, to attend meetings of the Association, and shall be eligible to hold office in the Association.
Retired Professional Counselor
Annual Dues: $37.50
Eligibility: Retired members in the Missouri Counseling Association are entitled to membership dues at a reduced rate set by the Governing Council if they are (a) at least 60 years of age, and (b) no longer working in the field of counseling and (c) have been a MCA Member continuously for the past 5 years. or be a member with a disability who is not able to work in the counseling field.
