The Missouri Counseling Association is a branch of the American Counseling Association. We represent, protect, and advocate for the counseling profession in the state of Missouri.
Our Goals:
Community: ACAM will create a community of professional counselors focused on relevant issues facing individuals in the state.
Professional Development: ACAM will provide educational opportunities for professional counselors on relevant topics that are grounded in best practices in the field.
Awareness: ACAM will promote awareness on relevant issues through timely dissemination of information.
Advocacy: ACAM will provide members opportunities to actively participate in voicing mental health issues for legislative consideration.
